Graco Newborn Napper Pack n' Play- Melbourne

Cheap Graco Newborn Napper Pack n' Play- Melbourne Review

We purchased this pack n' play because it came with a bunch of extra features -- the bassinet insert, newborn napper, changing pad, soothing sounds vibration, diaper bag, etc. But we've only really used the bottom insert.
The pros:
* The newborn napper was great for the first week or so, but then our baby screamed every time we put him in it. However, I blame our baby, not Graco.
* The bottom insert is great. Our baby is very comfortable and started sleeping in it when he grew out of his bassinet (around 3 months old).
* The fitted sheets for the bottom are easy to find and very cheap. We use one over a waterproof pad, and keep a few on hand.
* The pack n' play is easy to put up and take down, once you know what you're doing.

The cons:
* Don't start any sort of assembly until you've read the instructions in their entirety. Or, if you lack the patience, read them backwards. Otherwise you'll end up undoing everything you've done about three times.
* The instructions are extremely frustrating. I'm perplexed by how confusing they could make the assembly instructions for something that is already mostly assembled.
* The changing pad seemed rather flimsy, so we never used it.
* The bassinet insert is not really a stable surface; it's more like a hammock. When we first put our son on it, none of us got any sleep. Every move he made (such as kicking) shook the insert like crazy. He seemed to find this amusing. So did we, for the first three hours.

We don't have much feedback on the other options because we just didn't use them. I'd still purchase a Graco pack n' play, but I'd definitely go for a more basic model next time.
